Ecological interactions of nematophagous fungi and their potential use in tropical crops

چکیده
Nematophagous fungi can feed on nematodes under nutrient-poor conditions. They live in the soil and their study is important because of possible use biocontrol phytoparasitic nematodes. These be cultivated laboratory using different media substrates, making them potential agents for agricultural tropical environments. The objective was to review recent scientific advances ecological interactions nematophagous prey, with emphasis as biological controllers. Given importance soil, diversity, abundance, dispersal, colonization types habitats, these fungal microorganisms specialists or generalists predation nematode populations various stages (egg, juvenile adult). applications predatory some crops Latin American countries are also briefly described. After explorations, it conclude that integrated application could improve production cultivars by efficiently reducing populations. In addition, structure trophic interactions, environmentally benign treatments reduce chemical pesticides.
